"A shame breakfast not cooked to order. Impressive dining room, just avoid tables on a through- route. Well staffed all great at up-selling. Had a room in the main house which had difficult access to the bathroom, especially at night. (Three narrow steps up). Check in/put very smooth. Comfortable lounge areas"

"Lovely spacious room unfortunately shower was very poor .Breakfast was amazing great selection. Downside you have to pay £13 parking per day !!we have always had free parking in hotels as a guest ."

"The hotel is OK but looking very tired. I opted for the Executive room which didn't match the description on Hotels.com. When checking with reception I was advised that the room I was in was correct, which it definitely wasn't. As it was late in the day I didn't have the energy to debate. In the morning I discovered my shower didn't work as the heat adjustment knob was broken so after wasting 15 minutes I had to run a bath. When mentioning to the lady on reception she wasn't bothered and just asked if I was checking out today??? Overall it was OK, not great though and I won't be returning."

"We had a great two night stay at the hotel. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming and our room faultless, a really great space to work and relax. We used the health club facilities on the Friday night and the supervisor was excellent; very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were a little dated and tired in places but we enjoyed the use of them. Overall a good experience. "
