The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is a little out of the way which is fairly evident from a map when booking the hotel. Overall, its a reasonably good hotel for the price. As I've been there a few times, it would be good if they didn't charge me for a slightly later checkout (12 midday rather than 10am on a Sunday when there were relatively few people there and the clocks just changed to lose 1 hour) ;)
Very comfortable, clean, well equipped and spacious bedroom. Hotel seemed to be understaffed with no staff on reception (had to telephone for reception staff, with no reply, so had to find a staff member to check in). Booked for breakfast and was then informed of two times when I could come down to eat.
Had a lovely stay. Relaxing, peaceful and great food. Our room was spacious and clean and reception and restaurant staff very friendly. Would recommend this to my friends and family

One night stay
We had a very short one night stay but as far as we could tell the hotel seemed nice and clean. Staff welcoming. Our room was clean, nice bedding towels etc. Toilet hard to flush. Lovely dark curtains so could sleep in but the bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable for me personally and the Pillows too hard. Receptionist did say she would make a note and maybe the mattress needed replacing. We would probably stay again if we can't get our usual hotel when visiting family in the area. . Breakfast was plentiful and acceptable. Lovely coffee, and fresh yoghurt. Bacon little dry though.
