"Have stayed at the du Vin many times on work trips to Bristol. I love the shower(!!) - but proportions of the room, the layout, the bed, the sheets and pillows - it’s all just right for me."

"Impeccably clean and comfortable room with quirky decor. Lovely staff.
Disappointed that I could not get breakfast before 8am, I really would prefer at 7am prior to a full business day of meetings."

Lovely little hide away hotel with a sweet little courtyard with very pleasant out door dining. Very efficient staff in the restuarant, excellent service, excellent food. Whole experience was a pleasure.
Only issue was we had to pay for overnight parking, which run out at 9am in the morning.

The host was very helpful sending a lot of information before the trip and greeting us with more information and history of the Priory.
Well equipped apartment including a pint of milk.
Lovely out of the city location but only a short journey to see the Clifton suspension bridge and also the convenient park and ride.

Loved the lay out of the hotel. Very quirky and so very different to your normal/regular hotel. Great bar and food! Good part of town. Will definitely stay again!
Only downside, no parking. But Cabot Circus car park just 5 mins walk. £17.80 for 24 hours. Costly, but safe place to park. Dont bother with JustPark app. It is cheaper, but will send you to dodgy neighbourhoods.

‘ PLEASE GET READY‘ to read this review. We stayed at ‘ The Priory ‘ hoping to stay
‘ FOREVER YOUNG‘. We stayed so we could attend the Rod Stewart concert at Ashton Gate. ‘I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT’ but ‘ THERE WAS NEVER A DULL MOMENT’
The Priory was very comfortable and all instructions were plain ‘ SAILING ‘. THIS OLD HEART OF MINE’ wouldn’t mind living there! The Priory is a beautiful place, ‘EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY’

This is so centrally located, you can walk just about anywhere. Quiet location, and informal style of guest house, but what really made it for us were the wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. I would certainly recommend to friends.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Seems to have been renovated recently and the rooms are spacious and lovely. Unfortunately the windows don't open and the door to the balcony is locked. The breakfast is decent and has what you want. You can request vegan/vegetarian options as well! Staff were lovely and helpful and they have a quick check out option as well.

Spent a comfortable four nights in this well appointed apartment. Beds were good, if a little narrow for two tallish adults. Sitting room and kitchen area were well furnished and equipped. Two bathrooms were a boon. Two minutes walk from the bus station, taxi rank and bus stop for the most popular town circuit buses. Our apartment faced onto the garden at the back of the building - there may have been more traffic noise had we been facing the street. Seagulls join in the dawn chorus, so no...

A lovely little apartment right in the centre of Clifton village. Very cosy and well maintained.
My only complaint would be there is no "Convenient and secure on-site parking, a rare amenity in the area", as described when booking.
There is on paid on street parking but you have to arrive after 5pm to pay for all night parking.
Other than that I would recommend.
