The lodge is situated on a nice quiet camp site and has its own single carspace right outside. "Served its purpose for a one night stop over, basic and a bit tired, stains on sofa and carpet, only one double sofa which sank when you sat on it so the third person had to sit on a hard dining chair. Basic utensils, no wine glasses but did have a gravy boat 😁 comfortable beds, met by the pleasant host, all in all fine "

"Was a fab chilled week away. Watching shooting stars from the hot tub was awesome. Great location for national trust visiting and other historic places or if you wanted shopping there were towns for that. The lodge had everything you need. Downsides minor.. tv not having any signal but we knew our Netflix account so could watch that. People walking their dogs at night round the back of lodge with their torches when youâ€™re in hot tubâ€¦ frightens the life out of you!! ðŸ¤£"
