The bathroom was nice & big too with a separate bath & shower. Plenty of light & good mirrors too. The recent renovation has certainly paid off. Only downside was the hotel was locked the two nights we were there so had to knock/wait a while to be let back into the property, which seemed an inconvenience for the staff member who let us in. First time was checking in at 10.30pm (we called ahead to say we’d arrive this time) & then at midnight. Having it hotel key controlled would help staff & guests with access. Unfortunately the breakfast shift appeared to be either undermanned or challenging. We sat for some time before being served (both mornings). This was a shame because breakfast was lovely. Our room although cosy and adequate was situated strait above the bar, so a bit noisy.
