"Just around the corner from Lime Street station, the Liner Hotel is lovely and quiet. The restaurant offers a variety of meals, and the Castaway Lounge is open in the evenings. Excellent location for popping on tours (at the World Museum, 3-5 minute walk) or walking through town to the Ferry or the Cavern Club, as well as history sites. "We had a great stay - location is excellent, breakfast was excellent and room was v good. Staff were also really nice and friendly. Only downside was the changing rooms for the swimming pool - gents was out of order and only small family area available which wasn’t the cleanest. Overall though would recommend."

"The staff in every section were fantastic, Cheerful, helpful and very polite. Food was cooked to perfection, Breakfast had plenty of choice and would cook extra things for you if they had it. For us, a couple in our 70's it was absolutely 100% perfection and if we come back to Chester again we will certainly be staying here."
