"The staff were lovely. The location worked for me. Room was clean and quiet. Some of the wooden furniture was showing some wear but otherwise everything was fine"

"Customer service was brilliant at front desk. I asked if I could check in early after a 4 hr drive at 12 and staff was very accommodating. Room had all the necessary amenities and what I liked was it had an ironing board and iron. The room smelt of paint as may have been recently refurbished. Paid for parking at front desk as it was cheaper then paying at machine. Location is excellent. Thank you to the staff for making my stay a pleasant one."

"Overall, the Double Tree is a lovely hotel with very helpful staff and great customer service. The only downside in our experience was the pillows (1 too small and 1 too big), seems to be quite common these days, but we couldn’t sleep properly on either of them. Also, the food prices are quite expensive (breakfast is approx. £17 and a basic pizza will set you back £21 if delivered to your room)."

"We only used it as we were at a wedding nearby. The bed was comfortable. They closed the bar early so we couldn't get a last drink with the bride and groom when we got back around 11.30. Breakfast was £20 so we went to McDs instead. That aside, they upgraded the bride and groom for free and made them feel special which is what counts most."

"For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting it to be any good but that was not the case. Room was clean and tidy, comfy bed and a little balcony. The only issue I had was the shower, it was tiny I could barely lift my arms up, but that wouldn’t stop me from going back again. Friendly staff and the breakfast absolutely gorgeous so tasty and cooked fresh I would recommend 100% and I will be back."

"The room was very clean but the carpet needs pulling as baggy in places. Disappointed with not having a bar menu for food, only food available is if you sit in the restaurant to eat or order room service."

"Booked as somewhere to stay whilst visiting Oulton Park for the weekend. Always worry when booking a budget style hotel, but was very happy with the standard of the room and facilities. Also good to know there are adequate parking spaces."
