This is a really nice hotel, clean rooms etc no real faults at all apart from 2 things
1 it's a 15minute walk to the last metro station, the second part is thro a badly lit industrial estate. Not ideal if your scared easily at night
2 there is another hotel in Rome called Hotel Ginerva which is miles from this one. This caused massive confusion with airport transfers and taxis. They all wanted to go to the other hotel as no one had heard of this one. So much so that we almost missed our flight home!
The hotel was modern, clean and the staff was helpful. The free breakfast had a good variety. The neighborhood had good cheap places to eat and shop with mostly local people using them. We really got a taste of Italy by staying here.

A four star hotel close to the Vatican City and St.Peter connected by the Metro *Cornelia*. 120 bright rooms with private …More
Very nice and clean facilities. The staff is very helpful, and friendly, the receptionists speak several languages including English, French and Spanish. The breakfast is excellent and the shuttle service to and from Dowtown is very convenient. Ecohotel is a great place to stay.
The 40 or 50 superior cabins like deluxe shipping containers. Actually really nice and modern for a week. I was very surprised with the facilities and the shuttle to Vatican City for 3 euro return is great
Good hotel and nice staff. Not far from main Rome attractions if you want to drive or hire a taxi. Taxi to Colosseum costed us only 20 Euros. The hotel is about 2-3 km from the Metro station, but it took us about 35 minutes to reach there by free shuttle in the morning traffic.
The only annoying thing for me was that they do not provide irons!
Encompassing in its folds part of the area next to the Vatican, the Aurelio neighborhood is known for being a residential haven away from the hustle and bustle of central Rome while still being connected to the heart of the city. The area's traditional restaurants, local shops, and neighborhood cafés bordering the piazzas make it the perfect place for an evening stroll.
