The Warwick was a beautiful place for the Wedding we went to. Would rather stay at Denarau again having more things and places to visit. The Coral Coast is very pretty but 2 hours drive in a bus to get there.
Beautiful grand hotel that still somehow has managed to hotel onto the class that it had way back when! The only negative was seeing a bunch of young Chinese hang around the lobby with what appeared to be complete disrespect with their legs flopped over the furniture, running around free throughout ...
This was our first time in Fiji and at a Shangrila. Fantastic beautiful place for snorkelling, eating, swimming and relaxing. One thing that’s good to know for next time, we had four in a room with a trundle bed. If your kids are above the age of 8 or 9 I would recommend a bigger room or two rooms. ...
Nowhere does five-star luxury quite like the emerald Fiji Islands in the South Pacific. Covered in tropical forests, palm-fringed beaches and riotous coral reefs, they are a dream holiday come true. For luxurious pamper sessions and seaplane island hopping, head out to one of the five-star resorts that grace the country's 332 offshore isles. Many of Fiji’s high-end hotels are set on their own exclusive private islands.
Book a five-star hotel on the luxury island of Denarau, or at its exclusive Port Denarau just a few minutes from the town of Nadi on Fiji’s main island of Viti Levu. Yachts line the jetties, with everything from small craft to classic sailboats and vast superyachts, and the marina is filled with all you’d expect to find in a jet-set harbour. Restaurants and shops, cafes and day spas perfectly complement its international 18-hole golf course and private full- and half-day sailing trips around the beautiful coastline.
Known as the soft-coral capital of the world, Fiji is a diver's delight. It is home to 4,000 square miles of brilliant underwater ecosystems supporting more than 1,000 species of technicolour fish and hundreds of sponge and coral varieties, as well as the Great Astrolabe Reef, one of the largest barrier reefs in existence. Arrange a swim with hammerheads and reef sharks, and marvel – from a distance – as experienced Fijian divers perform their famous shark-feeding routines.
For more sedate diving, hire a private charter to take you to deserted reefs. Or if you’d rather something you’ll never forget, get your five-star hotel to organise a helicopter ride to a remote island for a lunch on a beach all to yourself.
Luxury is all about experience. And on Fiji’s islands, you could lay out on a bed of banana leaves for a full-body massage, or you could rise above the waves trying the newest extreme sport of flyboarding. Take your choice from eco-tours into the jungle or high-speed mud rides along dirt trails in a buggy or on a quad bike to remote villages or the Sabeto Hot Springs. A five-star hotel stay in Fiji is one you’ll never forget.
