"In a word: flawless. The staff was always friendly and helpful; the room was lovely; the bar and restaurant were clean and attractively decorated. We loved the lavish breakfast buffet (included). The hotel was recommended by friends as a good place to stay in "normal Rome," away from the tourist centers, and it is that, yet it's a nice walk (less than 30 minutes) to the Borghese Gallery and the huge park containing it, and a short Uber ride to the Vatican, St Peter's and other major tourist...

The Hotel has character and the complimentary breakfast, wifi and shuttle are nice touches. Located close to Villa Borghese park, a wonderful place to walk on to Rome. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. OLD FIXTURES, WHEN WATER COMES WITH A TRICKLE YOU CAN BARELY SHOWER, NO HOT WATER, WILL CHARGE FOR BREAKFAST, TORN DRAPES, DIRTY ROOMS, FILTHY PLACE AND WE ARE SUPRISED THAT THE CITY LETS THIS PLACE OPERATE!!
