This hotel is quaint, clean, and the service is so friendly.
The room was beautiful and well maintained during our stay. The beds are tempur-pedic'ish and so comfortable after a long day on the cobblestones! The water pressure in the shower from the rain-showerhead was perfect! Maybe my only "eh" was the hairdryer, which you had to hold the button in continuously to power.
(I have long hair so my thumb got a workout!) But who cares! You will be in ROMA!
I wish we had explored the hotel's grounds more but we were far too busy exploring the city.
Rome's main sights are walkable from the hotel for those who are quite active. (Plan about 7-10 miles per day on foot) Don't worry - Taxis are very convenient should you not want to take on the miles at any point in your day. Suggestion - taxi into the city then spend your miles strolling the streets and sights.
The surrounding restaurants are great though we loved the ambience of those located in the city's alleyways.
It's almost as though the smaller the alley, the better the restaurant!
Car transportation to the airport is easy to arrange, highly recommended, and worth every euro!
We would stay at this hotel over and over again! I hope this happens much sooner rather than later!
