"Always an amazing experience at YOTEL in Edinburgh. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed here 3 times over the past 5 months. Never had any issues and the room has always been great. The only let down is cleanliness, there are those parts of the room that are missed, such as corners being filled with dirt/dust, Linen being stained, and floors not being vacuumed. It’s the small attention to detail for the cleaning that is a bit of a let down. However, it is generally clean. The location is great, it’s central enough to be able to go into the various parts of Edinburgh. There is breakfast available, however for the price you can have a much nicer breakfast elsewhere in Edinburgh. I would only choose the breakfast out of sheer convenience. YOTEL’s are set up to be straightforward and convenient. The systems to check in are great, if you don’t want to interact with other humans there’s generally no need. "

"I was upgraded to a castle view room upon my arrival which was really nice. Reception staff were very friendly and allowed me an early check in as my room was ready. The beds were comfy and breakfast was very good. The only thing was that there was a bit of toothpaste not cleaned off the sink (it was behind the taps so I could see how it could be missed) and a shower cap was still hanging on the back of the bathroom door. "

"Excellent rooms. Great location if you’re okay with walking steps or roads uphill to close by Royal Mile. Lobby was under renovation which when completed should be great and easier for checkin and staff services. "

"Great location. Lovely big room and bathroom. Very clean. Enjoyed the pool and steam room/sauna - practically had them to myself. It’s a shame there are no loungers round the pool (as per photographs on website) - only chairs. It’s a small area so maybe they weren’t practical. "

"Absolutely fabulous stay. Went as 2 girls for my hen do as wanted to visit Edinburgh more than a wild night out. What can I say the hotel was so clean and so unusual for us to stay at a football stadium. It was quiet too. Nice location easy to get to on the bus from the city centre £4 return… bargain. The bed was out of this world, comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in wished I could take it home. Complimentary robe and slippers. The snacks were a nice touch. Eco friendly Molton brown toiletries. And the staff… all I can say is absolutely fantastic, Stephen, Katie and Sarah were so kind and accommodating and even organised a special treat. If you’re thinking of going to Edinburgh this is the place to stay!! "
