"The elevator was out of service for multiple days during our stay. We had to walk up six flights of stairs several times after already walking several miles around the city. We were late to dinner reservations on two occasions due to the delay. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff on the sixth floor were friendly and professional."

"Slow check in - took 20 plus minutes with no apology for wait. Given voucher for £5 off for restaurant- this was closed! A 2 for 1 drinks voucher which finished at 7 pm so couldn’t use as took so long to check in. Ate in the bar /restaurant but the waitress forgot our drinks order, no water even after asking twice and no condiments. Room was spacious but very dated and 2 lifts out of order so toon forever to get to my room on 9th floor "

"The hotel itself is in a great location, but definitely needs some renovation. Feels a little tired. Main issue for me was room temperature. The air con wasn't working properly. Raised it with reception and an engineer arrived, telling me to turn it up and down again. Did nothing and the room was a literal oven. Ended up needing a fan to move some air around. Not sure I would stay again as I feel awful now after a 2 night stay in a sauna "

"The hotel is in an excellent condition and I was very pleasantly surprised with how big it is inside. The staff were very friendly and helpful and more so, as I was celebrating a special occasion with my boyfriend, when we walked into the bedroom we were greeted with a bottle of champagne and cheesecake on the table and the bed was beautifully decorated with a towel swan and floral petals. I was so in awe it was the most wonderful surprise. So a huge thank you to the team for making our stay so special. We will definitely be back again soon! "

"This hotel was perfect for all the site seeing we wanted to do by foot. Close walk to Victoria Station. They had an amazing breakfast with very hot coffee and a variety of food for every palate. The room was clean and well stocked with a frig, iron, hair dryer & toiletries. Even a twin bed room was comfortable."

"Room large and very clean. Ideally along the river, great views whilst having breakfast. Continental breakfast very reasonable. Staff very helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend "

"All fine but did book hotel primarily for use of spa with son. Jacuzzi not working and separate sauna so didnt bother. Make sure if you want breakfast you double check price as price at check in (which i dithered about) was less than what i was charged next morning. Nice enough hotel, quiet location"
