"Loved the view of the lake from our room. Breakfast was freshly made, lots of choices. Our room was a bit dated and in need of modernisation, but was clean and spacious ."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Location was great in between Windermere and Bowness, easy walk to both. Lovely breakfast and charming room. Very quaint. About 15 rooms, they are not huge rooms and have a small bathroom. Only weird thing was the hotels direction on map led us to a completely different place so we arrived at the wrong accommodation at first. Would recommend Woodlands, we liked it a lot. "
