"A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided. The bed was lovely and comfortable. People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem. If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. "

"Check-in went smoothly and we did not face any issues during arrival. However, there were a few major problems during our stay. The Wi-Fi was not working at all throughout the property, which caused a lot of inconvenience. In addition, none of the heaters in the upstairs rooms were functioning properly. Because of this, the rooms became extremely cold during the night, making it very uncomfortable for us and disturbing our sleep. We would appreciate it if these issues could be looked into...

When we booked it on hotels.com it wasn’t made clear that this a basement level apartment with its own entrance but part of family home upstairs with that it came with a few downsides we didn’t expect. "Lovely cottage, plenty of space for the 6 of us. Fantastic log burner. Very clean, everything we needed in the kitchen. Having the washer dryer was a real bonus. Separate downstairs bedroom and bathroom was great for my parents "
