"The location was convenient to the train station, restaurants, and sights like the Edinburgh castle. It requires a climb to get up to the Royal Mile, however. We did not do breakfast there because we were told it was 30 pounds/person. From what I saw, it was a standard hotel breakfast but even if it were a cut above, that is too pricey, especially when there are lots of good coffee shops in the area. The lobby area is nice and they will check your baggage in a secure area if you arrive too...

"The hotel is certainly stylish, however with a slight complacency to their offering this creeps towards being style over substance. The basic expectations of enough coffee in the room for at least one cup each for two people, let alone enough for the entiety of the stay was missed. Failed requests by staff to their group WhatsApp for supplies, resulting in the need to repeat our at the bar.. Also a notably late afternoon attempt by housekeeping to refresh our room, whilst we were getting...

"The staff were excellent - really helpful, friendly and efficient. Our room was spotlessly clean, the accoutrements were replenished every day and the amenities were modern. Breakfast was a well presented, well organised event every morning - hot fresh tasty food, plenty of fruit and pastries, and juices/hot drinks.
