"Ideally located on the water with great views to the Modern Art Museum, completely walkable to Gamla Stan and all the restaurants, bars and shopping there. Highly recommend the bar, great cocktails, jazz the nights we were there, bar manager Denise was beyond wonderful. She explained much about the building and her part in designing the features of the bar, so impressive! "This is in the center of Gamla Stan. We got a corner room and it’s pretty big. We were there early May and weather was warm so we had the windows open. With the windows open, it was a little lou, early evening so I had to use ear plugs. The hotel is like a little museum, so cute. The receptionists are all very nice and helpful. I love the location of this hotel, cleanliness, size of room, breakfast, and staff and moderately priced 👍"

"It was so lovely to be in a location out of the city centre but to have it so accessible. With the water taxi right outside & so frequent. The hotel is brimming with style and elegance, a former mill with breathtaking views. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever tasted with so much selection. There was even a pillow menu ! "The hotel feel a little dated but that gives it part of its charm! The rooms are nice but feel old and in need of some refurbishment. The hottest hotel shower I have ever encounter. The breakfast is just ok and could offer more choices are the in room dinning. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. Will come again."
