“I like it but only one thing....”

I love this hotel and this was my second time stayed. The room is clean and chic but only one thing I can't give 5 is that room temp. I know they are trying to keep eco friendly but it's winter. I would love to be in the warm room not the temp makes me feel surviving when I am paying quite money on the room and especially after came back from the freezing outside. I wish they let us to set the room temp more than 24.

“Great hotel with a great bar”

This hotel is great for people that are not travelling with kids. The bar is cool and the restaurant had good food. The only downsize is that you can hear the music from the bar until at least 1 am. But that´s ok if you know it beforehand.

“Modern, trendy, great bar, comfortable”

Fantastic deal through Expedia (hotel plus flight) for a 36 hours business trip to Stockholm great room with very comfy beds, great staff, marvellous breakfast with a large choice and fantastic scrambled eggs if you get down early, excellent location within a couple of hundred meters of a Transit station, and 15 minutes walk from the main train station with its 20 minutres train to the main Arlanda airport. Some great looking bars around the hotel, and it felt very safe - staggered back on my own after midnight and felt safe as houses. All in all, great stay, and if I come back it will be my first Expedia search. Recommended.

Dining

Eriks Restaurant, at Gondolen, on the 11th floor of a tower block, right outside the Susslen Transit Station - wow. Veal carpaccio with asparagus on lemon sauce was Michelin 1* at least, the carp was beautiful and the dessert (rhubarb spring roll) was marvellous with a well chosen Tokay. You will not be disappointed. Oh, almost forgot, the view was marvellous!!

“Fantastic location !”

This hotel is unbeatable when it comes to location. The rooms are very small and they don't have a minibar. The breakfast is great - there is everything for everyone. Staff are very friendly and positive. I would stay here again !

Area recommendations

Stockholm is beautiful and has so much to offer. Bring comfortable shoes and enjoy Stockholm by foot ! Take a boat to one of the nearby islands . If you go in the summer there is endless of outdoor restaurants to have a glass of wine or dinner at.

“expedia misreprsentation in description”

lovely hotel fabulous staff but only went for this one in partuicular as expedia details stated it had tea and coffe faciotliies in room. and at 2.50 for a cup of coffee in a paper cup and £ 3.00 elsewhere this was the mjor draw. however Scandic anglais DO NOT provide this facility. when we explained that this was how they were described on expedia they did provide a tray, but it never got washedup or topped up. like I say, only mionor on the part of the descrition on expedias part.

“Not impressed”

Based on the good reviews I choose this Hotel but I was not impressed. The room was noisy due to the fact that it was located close to the genenral ventilation system, the room was small and not especially clean. I was annoyed that the air conditioning could not be switched off. The outside temperature was not more then 20 C and it turned the room into a fridge. What a waste of energy. Hotel staff was not helpful either to solve the situation.

“Modern Comfort”

The hotel was very modern, which is not exactly my taste, but new and comfortable. Amenities and service were very good. The location of the hotel was excellent. Within walking distance of all the main attractions in Stockholm.

“Hotel Review”

The Hotel was adequate for my needs. As far aa value, there are many other hotels in Stockholm that are in the same price range that are more up to date and more comfortable. On the plus side, the hotel food was great.
