The Mornington is a wonderful hotel, and its location is centrally-located and convenient to many of Stockholm's most popular sights. The hotel staff were knowledgeable and kind. The hotel breakfast (included with your stay) is amazing and generous. I highly recommend this hotel.

You have a very attentive staff. Great location. I’ve loved the wide selection of breakfast items. We liked the books and band. Our only dislike is there was no place to unpack ones clothes and the rooms were too dark. These were the comments of a party of 6 people, who had 3 separate rooms.

Hotel is located at a very convenient spot, lots of places to go eat, have a drink, shop, etc. staff was very helpful and even tho we got there before check in they allowed us to check in earlier and that was very nice of them since we had an overnight flight and needed some rest.

This was our first time to Stockholm, and we are glad we stayed at the Mornington. The accommodations were excellent, and the staff very helpful and pleasant. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We reserved the Cherry Double room and it was spacious and quiet. There is a small gym which was great for a workout. The breakfast (included in the price of our room) was outstanding, with both hot and cold foods, and very healthy selections. The location of the hotel was convenient to walk to many museums, the waterfront, and other activities, along with a wide range of restaurants and cafes, as well as a nice park a few blocks away. We took the train from the airport and the hotel was only a 20-minute walk away. The Mornington has evening music as well. We definitely recommend the Mornington; it was one of the best we've stayed in, and was reasonably priced.

This was our favorite hotel of the four on our trip - very cool atmosphere. It had a very very good breakfast, a nice bar and small bistro. The lobby was great place to hang out. It wasn't the most convenient location for where we wanted to do stuff and it was a little noisy, but still we liked this hotel a lot.

Mornington is a home away from home. The lobby is amazing and the staff always very friendly and service minded. The rooms are not so big but very cozy, clean and quiet to sleep in. Pros: Great neighborhood location with a relaxed vibe, friendly staff, and good breakfast (though the menu never changes and it gets crowded until 9:30 AM). The live jazz from the outdoor patio below was also a nice touch! Cons: We were staying for six nights. We requested a quieter room, but were told our Expedia package limited our options. Our 3rd-floor room faced daily early-morning loud noise—garbage trucks Wed–Fri and delivery trucks on Saturday. Additionally, the hotel Wi-Fi was down for at least two full days of our stay.

A very well run hotel in a great location. Less than 5 mins walk to the train station. Room was spacious with a comfortable couch. Beds were very comfortable as well. A very abundant breakfast with options for gluten free and dairy free/vegan including a version the traditional hard bread, vegan cheese, vegan butter, soya milk, oat milk etc. Friendly staff as well for who nothing was a trouble. Very highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights, and overall it was a very good experience. The location is excellent, with restaurants, a pharmacy, supermarkets, and many great places nearby. The hotel staff were very kind, helpful, and always willing to assist us. However, there are a couple of points that we felt could be improved. First, there was no refrigerator in the room. In most hotels around the world, even a small fridge is usually provided. Since we were traveling with a young child, this was a bit inconvenient. The staff kindly offered to store our food in their refrigerator downstairs, but this was not very practical as we had to go down and ask for our items each time. More importantly, there was no telephone or intercom system in our room. If we needed to contact the reception—for example, to request fresh towels—we had to use our own phone. As international travelers, roaming charges can be quite high, so this was not ideal. In our opinion, having a phone in the room is essential and would greatly improve the guest experience.

The Mornington Hotel Stockholm City has some clear positives that make it appealing at first glance. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Östermalm, close to shopping, restaurants, waterfront areas, and easy access to central Stockholm attractions. The room size is OK for a city hotel (nothing huge, but functional), the bed is quite comfy, and the breakfast is genuinely good with a nice variety of options. However, the negatives heavily outweigh these for me. The rooms are very noisy overall poor sound insulation means you hear everything from neighboring rooms, including constant banging doors. If you get a room on the "wrong" side of the hotel, it's extremely noisy and disruptive. At night, around 4am, the noise ramps up even more because staff empty garbage and (especially) clinking empty bottles right outside. On top of that, the room temperature was ridiculously high, stifling hot with no effective way to turn it down or cool it properly. Despite the good location, comfy bed, and solid breakfast, these issues made sleep almost impossible and the stay frustrating. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.
