There are four international airports in and around Stockholm. The city’s main terminal is Arlanda Airport which is located around 25 miles from central Stockholm. Used by a number of national carriers, it offers a choice of flight times from UK airports. From Arlanda you can travel to the city centre quickly and easily by bus, train or taxi.
The city’s second airport, Bromma, is mainly used for domestic flights. Around 60 miles from Stockholm are Västerås and Skavsta airports. Although relatively small, these terminals handle a number of budget flights to Stockholm from UK airports so there’s a good chance you’ll land at one of these terminals if you book with a low-cost carrier.
