I arrived about 11pm at the hotel. There was no clear sign for reception or any evidence of staff and there appeared to be a wedding reception type event on in the orangery. I went to the courtyard area, thinking that must be where reception is. I spent about 10 minutes trying different doors, feeling ...
Very nice people. Rustic environment. Had a trampoline for my grandkids to bounce in. They did. Lots of laughs.
It is a historical building and it has been maintained very well. The location, besides the lake, is extremely good. Rooms are clean. Food provided for breakfast and dinner were very good. The only limitation is a bit difficult to find for the first visit since the road is quite complicated.
If you want spacious and plush, this isn’t it. But if you want comfortable, convenient, classy, and fun to stay in, this is it. Having stayed at a sister hotel in the past, I knew what to expect—and was delighted
