"Hotel in the center of the city. Near the train st"
Rooms quite clean, but there are already a bit worn. Renovation quite a long time it was not in the room. The room quite cold, turns off the AC, with outside sound is heard street, or the windows are quite leaky. The hotel staff tries to be helpful. Half quite expensive in relation to choice of food.
Generally for a 5 star hotel that fell out rather poorly, as to the condition of the hotel and breakfasts. Rather, I was quite disappointed in the 5 star hotel.
Great experience, great view, amazing staff, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a feast. The first night oddly, my bed was not made, but the rest of the room was cleaned... I forgot to ask why :) but overall an excellent experience.
A lovely hotel where I have stayed many times before. This time travelling as a family with my teenage son sharing our room and the hotel failed twice to supply the extra bed - we finally got it at 1am in the morning which rather spoilt our visit. I am sure this is not a typical experience and they did there best to compensate after the event although I never heard from management

The hotel was tiny and had few amenities - bed and your own bathroom with shower. It was underground so there are no windows and it is perfect if you care more about the city you're visiting and want to be centrally located. You are about 8min walk from Stockholm Central Stn, and can walk to old town and there is plenty of shopping, restaurants and museums. The staff are super friendly if you chat with them. The hotel rooms are underground and above on the main floor is a café. The café has small goodies, drinks and ice cream. Their continental breakfast was very simple. There are no phones in the room. If you're like me and don't care about the room other than to sleep it is fine. They do up keep but don't change sheets or towels. Soap and shampoo are provided in pump which is standard in most European hotels. There is a shelf and a couple of hooks and two hangers for clothes. Plastic cup glasses. But again, I stayed for 5 nights and it did the trick. Again the rate, the staff, and the location are top notch. The bed is soft, but this too is standard in most European hotels, they also operate with twin beds whereas if you're used to US/Canada minimum is a double or queen. All rooms are smaller generally in Europe, so again if you're used to big rooms, this isn't your cup of tea.
The hotel was modern and clean and well situated next to the Central Station and Bus Station (Cityterminalen). It was close to the city centre shops and the old town (Gamla Stan) was approximately 10 minutes' walk away.

This is Stockholm’s city center, making it one of the most convenient places to stay. It’s home to the Central Station, Stockholm’s most famous park, Kungsträdgården, and Sergels Torg (think Times Square or Piccadilly Circus). The Royal Opera House and Hötorget symphony hall are also here. Shoppers flock to NK, Sweden's answer to Harrod's.
