The TV is in the basement room and not the living room so that was a bummer. We went out a lot in the town, but it is always nice to watch a movie together. "Great mountain home for families or friends. Plenty of rooms, even a fun playroom/bedroom for the tykes. Downstairs has pool table and darts and big TV. Upstairs with main floor, kitchen, dining, living and fireplace (lots of firewood available). Just a couple of hours north of LA, very convenient. Short walk to small community town for dining and small grocery. Lots of hiking nearby - we suggest hikes #6 and #1 on the property’s hiking map (on the coffee table). "This is the second time my family has rented this home. It has all the things you would want for a cozy getaway. The only downside to the property is that there is no cell phone reception, and the Wi-Fi is very spotty. We came up on the tail end of a winter storm, and had trouble getting up the road because of the ice, even with chains, and were not able to make any calls. "We used VRBO to find a stay in #FrazierPark and get to play in the snow here in SoCal. What a fun stay. The host was so amazing and kind and was available for our every need. The place was clean, cozy and had all ammenities we needed. The backyard was awesome and plenty of space for us to enjoy ourselves. Easy check in and check out and we will definitely be back again. "This is a perfect getaway. It's close enough to Los Angeles, but far enough that you feel like you are not in the city. The house is a cozy place that fit my family of 4 perfectly. We ending up being able to have lots of family time from playing darts in the back, to the provided Pictionary game, to just sitting and reading and enjoying nature. "We just wanted to get away from it all for a few days, and this property was the ticket for it. The "village" with multiple coffe shops and s decent general store is ist just far enough away for a nice little walk with a reward at the end. We baked cookies, watched movies and just chilled. "Beautiful cabin nestled around tall pine trees with the back deckings scenic miles of nature and mountains,gateway to the wild. "Very nice place for weekend. The cabin is nicely built. Overall it was a good value. The central heat did not work, but the place got warm with the fireplace and space heater. The wall heaters in the rooms helped keep them warm. The kitchen could use better cooking utensils, but the appliances were very good. The cabin Was clean on inside but the porch needed sweeping. There is also unsightly throw-away items outside and under the house."

"Two couples and lifelong friends stayed at this beautiful property in September 2023. Everything about the listing was accurately presented. The pictures do not do it justice. The ‘cabin’ is very roomy, full of light and exceptionally decorated. The gourmet kitchen is to die for. This property was especially suited to one of our party with mobility issues.
