"Lovely hotel in a great location "
I don't normally sleep well in city centre hotels. But I did here. Only issue I had was on the second morning I hadn't been added to the breakfast list. This was quickly resolved. So long as I get the same rate I'll continue to use this hotel.

Enjoyed an hour beach side walk to Malahide Castle. Malahide town is a great stop through. Wish we spent more time here at the resort.

A nice, clean hotel. Very quick efficient staff at check- in and out. Breakfast was very good. A good variety of all options to suit everyone. Room was nice and everything was clean. 10minute walk to tramline Luas which takes you into the city centre. About 15 mins from the airport by taxi. Overall would recommend.

"Welcoming hotel"
I used the Skylon Hotel as a stop-over for one night. I didn't use all the hotels facilities or restaurant. The bedroom was clean and tidy with modern decor. The room was basic but comfortable with the usual tea and coffee features you'd expect. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city center, about 30 minutes walk, but can be easily reached by bus on many routes. At the time of my visit the bus trip cost was €2.70. (Note the use of coins and exact change needed on the buses or use a travel card. Overpayment results in a credit note which will need to be claimed back.)

"Lovely, comfortable hotel. Good quality facilities"
Staff very accommodating. Decent menu, great exec lounge providing comp continental breakfast, newspapers, big screen. Gets extremely busy when there is a football (Gaelic..rugby type) game. Croke Park Stadium across street.... Cannot get through lobby, difficult to get service at bar or restaurant, tons of security added. We were there for two weekend events... Get out of the hotel early. Found most taxi drivers very honest but rate for same trip varied from 6 to 14 Euros if you did not know area/route. Everyone is friendly and go out of their way to be helpful.

"Family gathering"
The hotel provided a reception for nearly 150 guests, some 25 percent more than originally estimated. The service could not be faulted and the extra numbers were catered for with no sisgn of it causing them a problem. The food was served very efficiently and was of a good standard. As a resident guest, the facilities were very good, the staff extremely courteous and helpful, the room was comfortable and the dining room food and service were excellent.
