"Good hotel in prime location. "
Other reviews speak of loud noise, which is to be expected really, on the main strip of temple bar. The Windows have a double glazed sliding feature, and with this closed the noise is quiet enough to sleep. Unfortunately the room was quite stuffy so we had to have the windows open and suffer the noise, but this wasn't a huge problem. The rooms were sufficiently clean, good wardrobe space and table and chair were useful. It was nice that although we placed the Do Not Disturb sign, we returned to find a bag of clean towels and new toilet roll on the door. This was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful. Staying on the first floor we took full privilege of the outdoors Terrace which was a lovely spot for a drink or a cigarette. We didn't try the breakfast as my partner prefers sleep! But it did look quite expensive... €17 for a full Irish breakfast. Overall, i had my hesitations about this hotel when I booked it due to the reviews, but I would happily stay here again!!

"great hotel only a 15 minute walk to temple bar"
From the outside not massively eye catching. The airport bus (747) stops right opposite the hotel. 10 euros return if bought with the pre paid ticket available at the airport. Inside the hotel- very pleasantly presented. Looks quite swish! Friendly reception staff -very quick check -in. Rooms clean and nicely decorated, my only gripe was the bed- too soft for my husband and me, but that's personal choice. Would recommend the breakfast- buffet style, always well topped up, fresh and LOTS to choose from. Would recommend!!!

"Close to temple bar area."
Large bar, live Entertainment close to temple bar Area and 18 min walk to the Guinness store house. Room was small, bathroom small, bed not greatly comfortable (two singles pushed together) and noise at 6am in the alley way, (deliveries and extracter fans?). Ate breakfast up the road for €7. Food did look good in the hotel but chose to eat out late after a few Guinness.

"good hotel close to all amenities"
The Maldron on Parnell Street is very close to O'Connell Street where all the action is you can pick up the hop on off bus there and the nightlife is excellent. It is only a ten minute walk from O'Connell bridge where you are within a minutes walk to the Temple Bar area. The hotel itself offered excellent services the breakfast was amazing don't think they could have added anything else to it the evening meal was excellent value, they had ice available in the foyer free of charge and a vending machine if you required a snack. Bar service was also available. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, hotel also very security conscious which we as 3 mature ladies felt welcoming.

"Very comfortable"
I love walking through St Stephens Green on the way to everywhere. It's a very peaceful way to begin the day. The breakfast is excellent with many choices including the full Irish, porridge, pancakes, etc. The staff is Very friendly and helpful. For a traditional feel (staying in an historical Georgian town home), but one which has been redecorated, this should be your choice.
