10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in a twin room during a walking holiday. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The room had everything we needed; the hairdryer was helpful as not all 3 star hotels provide one. We had dinner in the bar - we both agreed, it was one of the best bar meals we've had in ages! "The en suite was very nicely appointed and had a walk in shower. The room was not large but it was perfectly adequate for our few days there. We were a little surprised that there were no drawers or cupboards, just a fold out arm for clothes hangers (which we had fortunately brought with us!) and a bedside shelf. No aircon in the bedroom but fans were provided. There was a boot tray - ideal for walkers The general decor was in good condition as it had been refurbished only a couple of years ago. Parking was free in the car park across the road if you registered your vehicle with the hotel on arrival. Although the hotel is on the A5 road it was not noisy, but then our room was at the back. The manager kindly changed our room because the first one had a shower in bath arrangement and we had requested and had confirmed a walk in shower. The food was nice and all the staff were really pleasant and helpful. We would be happy to stay here again the future."

IXORA Hotel and Spa

"We stayed for 3 nights which was just about right and stayed at the King Deluxe room that was big and spacious. The staff were very attentive and helpful were ever it was need. The breakfast was nice but repetitive, and dinner was nice too. We had a spa day on the day of us leaving which was really nice (fee required). If you want to go out, there's lot to do at Conwy, sightseeing, restaurants, boat trips, castle and lots more to do. Overall we had a lovely time and would highly recommend."
