"All the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The receptionist that checked us in and out remembered us and asked about our evening. It’s nice to be treated as a person and not just a nondescript customer. The hotel was run very efficiently, it was very clean in room, the receptionist that checked area and the breakfast room. The breakfast was very good and was included in our fee. The wait staff were very attentive. Will definitely recommend and use this hotel again."

"This was my first stay in DoubleTree Southampton and it’ll be the first on my list of places to stay when I return to the city again. Friendly staff, fantastic rooms, great shower in room, great food and atmosphere and breakfast was top notch. Definitely recommend this hotel."

"Second Nature Southampton is a lovely hotel. The room we had was spacious and clean, with a nicely sized bathroom. It’s not a far walk to Oxford Street, where you can find a collection of good restaurants and pubs. St. Mary’s Stadium, the goal of our trip, was an easy twenty minute walk away. The friendly front desk staff can get a little overwhelmed, as they have to attend to check-ins and the cafe; and if you have an email with your parking confirmation, have it ready, otherwise you may be told to park on the street. Overall, they do their best to accommodate you. So if you’re going to Southampton, Second Chance is a fine choice for lodging."
