The room was fairly clean and comfy.
Staff was nice.
Be aware that the location is out of tourist area and needs to walk a few kinda sketchy blocks to the nearby metro station - though I felt safe to walk around at night.
Nearby high tech companies, interesting retails, good coffee shops as well as some alternative bar scenes.
I had booked my stay ,2 day's, separately to get the best rate. They allowed me to stay in the same room .
The lady that checked me in was very efficient and friendly. I think this hotel should have more than a 2 star rating.
Lobby is small, but the rest of the hotel interior is great. The King rooms are very spacious, and I got an accessible bathroom, which is huge. The restaurant and bar in the hotel is quite decent, on the 5th floor and in their courtyard, has both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for a group of friends. You might not want to call an Uber for pickup, since cars can't usually turn on Market St. Save yourself sometime and ask the doorman for a taxi.
The hotel and staff were wonderful. The hotel was beautiful and food was delicious. The room was spotless. The only problem was that there was construction going on across the street, which wasn't the hotel's fault, but the construction started at 5:00am on Sunday morning. My daughter and I awoke to drywall, flooring, and debris being thrown into a large dumpster behind a truck. Very frustrating, we weren't able to get back to sleep. We were told that we were upgraded to a room with a view and that sometimes when you have a view there is noise, I didn't ask to be upgraded and would have much rather had a room with no view that was quiet and would have allowed us to sleep in later than 5:00am.
