Good hotel. It is clean. The service is excellent. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. They are, however, very small and if you pick a room with a shared bathroom, they are very small. The only problem is that the rooms are not soundproof making it hard to get a restful night's sleep when there are trash collectors and other delivery trucks, making their way around the hotel at really early times in the morning. They also provide earbuds in your room, which means they are aware of the noise.
Hotel was right on Market street which was near a bunch of different restaurants, night clubs, and right down the street from the pier. Staff was friendly and accommodating, only issue was the valet parking price but besides that the two double bed room my friends and I booked was great everything looked clean and neat. Room came with TV, two small tables, sitting chairs, ice bucket, iron, ironing board, closet with hangers and a safe. Along with lamps and curtains which made the whole room look elegant. Will definitely book here again next time I'm in San Francsisco
The hotel was clean and pleasant as was the staff. The location was in an alley that was not the safest feeling, but we had no actual problems. We did opt for valet parking in a secure lot (at an additional $28.00) rather than taking our chances with a hard to find street spot. The part of mid town the hotel was located in didn't offer much for sight seeing, but was not far from other San Francisco activities. For the price ($150.00 per night) we were satisfied with what we got.
Quirky, comfortable and friendly hotel. Our room was bright and reasonably spacious, and although it had no view it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. It was my wife's birthday and the Duty Manager kindly sent a bottle of wine and chocolates to the room - a lovely gesture, and totally unexpected. Thank you!
The room was well equipped and toiletries of a decent standard. The fridge was suitably stocked, if a bit pricey - but probably no more expensive than elsewhere in the city.
