The location if you are attending a show in Brixton is really good as there is a bus going straight to Brixton and only takes 15min. There is also various shops and market on Sundays. We enjoyed pub food, the sticky toffee pudding is to die for 10/10! Hotel staff were super welcoming and we even got a free upgrade on a weekend! The room wss lovely. Free upgrsde to a river view. Only 10-15 mins walk from the tube 20 minutes walk on the riverside to the London eye. Near to the house of parliament. There was a floating bar across the road which was definitely worth a visit. The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we checked. In. Overnight stay for Valentine’s Day. Room upgraded on arrival. Complimentary chocolate and cookies at reception. Plenty of references to the buildings history (magistrates court and prison) - ask a member of staff for guided tour! ‘Spoiler Alert’ look out for the handcuffs on the chandelier in the entrance lobby. Hotel spotless, and staff keen to be if service. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked for another night !
