The customer service at this hotel was impeccable. It was in a great location in a quiet neighbourhood, which suited us. It was a two minute walk from Gaiemmae metro station which is on the very handy Ginza line. The staff went above and beyond to help us with our questions and phoned onward hotels for us when we had questions. The room was clean and had excellent amenities. Thoroughly recommend!

Perfect location and great staff. Our room was on 38th floor so we had fantastic views and the noise below wasnt an issue. The one gripe we had was the lack of clothing storage. Just one small rail with 4 or 5 hangers and nowhere to put our suitcases. We would still definitely recommend Hotel Groove Shinjuku to anyone in spite of this.

I stayed here for my first 3 nights in Tokyo. The hotel is modern, clean, and located about one minute's walk away from a subway station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The staff spoke limited English (just as I speak limited Japanese) but did their best to help; I used Google Translate a few times, which helped both I and the staff. I had breakfast one morning and opted for the Western style buffet; the food wasn't served particularly warm, however, in the dozen or so Japanese hotels that...

Greeted by the super friendly manager(who spoke excellent English) and shown to the spacious room(with a kindly offered gift waiting for me). Sauna room was bliss and a something I didn't expect. Housekeeping was superb and leaving/returning hotel was no hassle at all. Near to Golden Gai and Shinjuku/Shin Okubo stations. 5*; absolutely recommended - mainly due to exceptional customer service.

Amazing hotel, total luxury in all of its amenities. Perfect location in regards to restaurants, bars, clubs, cafes. The staff are so polite and the level of cleaning in the room on a daily basis is superb. The rooms so quiet as it’s just off the main road whilst only remaining a couple of minutes walk from the centre.

I wish I read the instructions folder in my room with all the facilities available. Lots of help items the hotel can supply. You get 2 bottles of water a day with new towels every day. The iron board which square and just a flat board was a challenge. Great view from my room I was quite high. Lifts go 8th floor then you need your hotel card in the other lifts to reach your room. Amazing location and checkout was my fastest ever.

Good hotel. Usual fairly small but perfectly comfortable Tokyo room. Very good Japanese style breakfast served on 10th floor with good views over Iidabashi.
Hotel is well situated approx 5 mins walk from JR/Metro IIdabashi station and a Family Mart and and a great Japanese supermarket a short walk away.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Would stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel during a 6 night visit to Tokyo, having previously stayed at the excellent Citadines hotel in Kyoto, & was not disappointed. Being close to the subway, with direct links to both Tokyo & Shinjuku stations, this hotel makes a great base for exploring the city. Very quiet location, even though located on a main road.

Stayed here for two weeks. Fantastic location only a few minutes walk from the heart of Shinjuku nightlife. About an 8 minute walk from Shinjuku station which takes you everywhere you could want to go in Tokyo and beyond.
Staff were fantastic with excellent English. Very friendly and helpful, and willing to hold onto our luggage after checkout until our flight.
The room was clean and cosy, with a deep bath and wide shower head. Toilet has a bidet, tap water is cold and drinkable. They provide...

Great stay at the Shinjuku Prince. Small rooms but clean and good breakfast offering. We also made use of the Station Cafe which is convenient. Could not fault this hotel in the heart of Shinjuku and near multiple metro lines.

A lovely room with a really good size well laid out bathroom. Our room had the sofa made as a third bed which we didn't need so staff converted it back to a sofa which gave us a pleasant seating area. Good facilities such as hair dryer straighteners etc
Baggage forward to next hotel easy to arrange through reception. Good price and far easier than dragging cases through rail system.

The hotel is in a very lively area and close to many others. The hotel was my favourite during our stay in Japan, full of character, clean and good facilities. My only downside is that the breakfast felt limited but there was always plenty. The staff were really helpful and helped us with everything from luggage forwarding, fixing our safe and collecting forgetten items.
