As a first time visitor the Park Hyatt Tokyo was everything I could have asked for. The staff truly waited on your every need. The room was magnificent with wonderful views. We loved everything about our stay. This is a perfect hotel to stay in for a first time visit.

"Very good hotel close to Shinjuku station"
Everything about the hotel was pleasing. The bars and restaurants inside are a little bit too expensive compared to what you can get elsewhere though.

Family travel of two adults and one big kid. Spacious room with three beds. Generous complimentary water, slippers and toiletries. Efficient check in and super speedy check out. Just a little disappointmentthat that the limousine bus ticket to airport was sold out the day before our departure. Easy walk to airport bus station even with three big bags. Easily solved.

"My 60th birthday "
We decided to celebrate my birthday differently this time. So we went to Tokyo and chose Hyatt Shinjuki. The hotel was a little old - needs a change of carpet very badly. Was very disappointed that the hotel never acknowledged my birthday. Once when we stayed in a Hilton in Istanbul many years ago, we were pleasantly surprised when given a cake. All the staff wishing a happy birthday. We will make sure not to stay in a Hyatt next time we are travelling during our birthday. The shuttle service to the train station was very good every 20 mints. The tour we organised through the hotel to mt Fuji was not good. Our lunch was at 3pm and not advised earlier that it will be that late. Need to change the tour company. No other complaints. Must admit the staff was excellent. Lobby was very beautiful. Very clean and very good service. Suji

Pocket Guide: Shinjuku, Tokyo Luxury Hotels

This sprawling business, commercial, and entertainment center never lets up. It is a modern Japanese phenomenon with shopping arcades, flashing neon signs, stand-up noodle bars, and side-street video screens. Some two million people pass through the train station alone. Futuristic-looking City Hall offers a free observation deck with great city views.
