Perfect location and great staff. Our room was on 38th floor so we had fantastic views and the noise below wasnt an issue. The one gripe we had was the lack of clothing storage. Just one small rail with 4 or 5 hangers and nowhere to put our suitcases. We would still definitely recommend Hotel Groove Shinjuku to anyone in spite of this.

Excellent location, had everything you could possibly need and more. It was so clean it looked like no-one had ever been in the apartment before! Would definitely stay again.

Greeted by the super friendly manager(who spoke excellent English) and shown to the spacious room(with a kindly offered gift waiting for me). Sauna room was bliss and a something I didn't expect. Housekeeping was superb and leaving/returning hotel was no hassle at all. Near to Golden Gai and Shinjuku/Shin Okubo stations. 5*; absolutely recommended - mainly due to exceptional customer service.

Amazing hotel, total luxury in all of its amenities. Perfect location in regards to restaurants, bars, clubs, cafes. The staff are so polite and the level of cleaning in the room on a daily basis is superb. The rooms so quiet as it’s just off the main road whilst only remaining a couple of minutes walk from the centre.

A fantastic stay to kick off our 2 weeks in Japan. The room was clean and a good size. Fantastic shower and comfortable bed. Having a washer/dryer in the room was very useful. The staff were fantastic and managed transporting our luggage to our next hotel. Lots of choice at breakfast, including traditional Japanese options. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is situated at the best location in Shinjuku.

The concierge staff is very helpful and communication in English is easy. They've been very helpful with sorting out the luggage transfer for us to Osaka. They're breakfast is amazing as well!

I wish I read the instructions folder in my room with all the facilities available. Lots of help items the hotel can supply. You get 2 bottles of water a day with new towels every day. The iron board which square and just a flat board was a challenge. Great view from my room I was quite high. Lifts go 8th floor then you need your hotel card in the other lifts to reach your room. Amazing location and checkout was my fastest ever.

Stayed here for two weeks. Fantastic location only a few minutes walk from the heart of Shinjuku nightlife. About an 8 minute walk from Shinjuku station which takes you everywhere you could want to go in Tokyo and beyond. Staff were fantastic with excellent English. Very friendly and helpful, and willing to hold onto our luggage after checkout until our flight. The room was clean and cosy, with a deep bath and wide shower head. A lovely room with a really good size well laid out bathroom. Our room had the sofa made as a third bed which we didn't need so staff converted it back to a sofa which gave us a pleasant seating area. Good facilities such as hair dryer straighteners etc Baggage forward to next hotel easy to arrange through reception. Good price and far easier than dragging cases through rail system.

The hotel is in a very lively area and close to many others. The hotel was my favourite during our stay in Japan, full of character, clean and good facilities. My only downside is that the breakfast felt limited but there was always plenty. The staff were really helpful and helped us with everything from luggage forwarding, fixing our safe and collecting forgetten items.

What an excellent find this hotel was. Yes, its room only but - there is a (free) array of food and drink available 24 hours a day. Massive variety from noodle soups, to cakes and deserts, fruit and all sorts of Japanese surprises. A variety of alcohol, juices and hot drinks were also available as was a massive range of all sorts of toiletries that you could try. You could go to this hotel with merely a change of clothes and have everything you need (and more) The staff were lovely and helpful...

Although the rooms are small, they have all the amenities of a five-star hotel, including plenty of toiletries. The roof top bar was amazing and prices were reasonable too. Staff members were very kind and supportive. I would most certainly return.
