Loved this hotel for many reasons, its decor, its staff, its locality and the not-so-exorbitant prices for breakfast and the minibar has to be mentioned also. We only stayed a night but would have liked to stay longer.
We were between two choices: staying in a hotel right in the center of the village or in this one.
We made the right decision. Although is 10 blocks from the famous bridge (Which is what Ronda i all about), the views from the hotel are amazing. It is located on top of a hill, all the deep green valleys lay down your feet.
The hotel is an old building which has been fully renovated in a luxury way, it is a pity we could not stay longer because we wanted to visit Ronda and the other beautiful white villages (our favorite one was Sentenil de las Bodegas, carved out from the rocks). This hotel is dieal to take it easy and rest for a day during your trip to Andalucia, reading a book in the terrace looking to the valleys, or walking down to the old center for lunch
We loved this hotel. Rachel and others were more than helpful and the meal on the patio overlooking the gorge in the evening. Lit up, this is the most awe-inspiring sight! The food was wonderful as well and they were able to give me Gluten Free bread to enhance my enjoyment of the meal. The room was beautiful, a fabulous view and many charming decorative effects. Staying here is like moving back in time but with all the modern conveniences.

Amazing location if you want to get away from everything. Surrounded by hills with incredible views. There really is nothing for miles. The pool and gardens are huge and rambling allowing you to get lost. Perfect for disappearing off to read a book with a secret glass of wine. Rooms are basic but rustic charm abounds. The public areas are charmingly decorated and restaurant menu is simple wholesome and homemade with local rustic wine selection. Truly a quiet place to reflect, rest and escape the world.

Set 35 kilometres inland, Ronda is a very picturesque, typical Andalusian town popular with Costa del Sol day trippers. Its emblematic feature is its bridge, spanning a vertiginous 150-metre deep gorge that dramatically bisects Ronda. There are plenty of historic visitor attractions including Spain’s oldest bullring (with museum), Arab baths, and a fine palace. Close by are a number of charming /ipueblos blancos/i (white villages), including Grazalema and Gaucín.
