Super hotel and great value. Over all it is pretty basic and the hotel could do with an update as it it a little tired in the standard rooms and public spaces but at the price point it is to be expected.
The only real disappointment was the gym. If you are in the standard rooms you have to pay an extra 8€ to use the Wellness Centre with the indoor pool and gym. When I last visited the hotel 2 years ago the gym was very basic with 1 treadmill with broken squeaky belt, 1 rowing machine, 1 static bike and 1 cross trainer. I had hoped this would have been addressed in the intervening time but it was actually worse! No mats or small weights and the same broken cardio machines minus the rower with added rust.
The gym aside though it is a good hotel and the location is perfect with lovely friendly staff and a good range of activities
We loved this hotel: our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and the bed was most comfortable. The hotel is set in extensive, well maintained grounds which lead directly onto the marina with its wide choice of restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet at the hotel offers an amazing range of choices- 46 varieties of jams and marmalades alone! A [perfect place for a relaxing winter break
We were well looked after and hotel was up to all our expectations ,except that we requested a double bed but only got two singles.we did not let that mar our holiday.
Hotel is pleasantly situated ,near the sea and all amenities including the ferry port for those travelling from fuerteventura . really pleasant holiday and really couldn't have been bettered..
We had a great time for 5 days just prior to Christmas. Great breakfast. Great for kids (2 and 5). Only complaint would be the noise from other rooms. Sound insulation not great. Book a suite at the end without anyone above you if you can. Go left to the marina rubicon rather right into the town for better restaurant/dining experience. Great disco for the kids and soft play. Staff for the kids were fantastic and included. A really good 5* child friendly hotel.

Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The Junior Suite option which is about 50% dearer than a Standard was very big with a 6 x 4 m bedroom, a 6 x 4 m lounge and a 6 x 3 m balcony together with a large bathroom and a walk in wardrobe. The view from the balcony was excellent with sun nearly all day and a very nice view overlooking one of the pools and a nice sea view over to Fuertoventura. The only thing not so good about it was that it was very simply furnished and bleakly painted all in white with a brown ceramic floor. The bed which was very hard in the Standard double was more comfortabler in the Suite. The Suite was quite a walk from the main hotel but it was very quiet. Last year we had a Standard double which was very acceptable and much cheaper. The food at the hotel is very plentiful but only modest in quality but we could always find something which was ok. Drinks in the hotel were very reasonable at only 2.4 euros for ok house wine and beer.

My family and I spent 5 days here. If you are looking for some peace and quiet - then this is the place. Staff constantly check if you are happy. The restaurant staff are brilliant - even on Christmas Day they were working with a smile. Chefs are great too.
Kids liked the jacuzzi. Two areas they could improve on is having a heated swimming pool and maybe a bit more fun for kids (I had two boys - 7 and 11 years old).
Overall, fully recommend this place to anyone!!!
Our return visit, asked for same room & was given it too.
Loads of young kids, but that's expected in an all inclusive resort. Adults only sunbathing area great to get a bit of peace & quiet.
Rooms very well maintained and spotlessly clean.
Food acceptable without being superb, bars busy but well stocked and good service

I went on my first "on my own holiday'. I liked the clean room, a little bit basic but I was expecting that as I didn't pay a lot for my break either. The food was slightly disappointing but as they have to cater for a lot of people on a very tight budget, i didn't expect anything better!
The facilities were great better than expected.
The staff was ok. I really did not like that everything was at least an half an hour late. Every event, if it was the stretching in morning, afternoon table tennis, evening show was alway at least an half an hour to an hour late, which I hated and gave up on my 10.30 am exercise as couldn't be bothered to wait and wait and wait....
I mentioned it to the staff and they didn't seem to care :(
Short walking distance to town was great. Loads of lovely cafe and restaurants to eat. lovely supermarkets etc.
Overall had a fab time and would recommend for this price I paid.
The original port and fishing village maintain an agreeable low-key buzz with good bars and restaurants, but it is the beaches that make Playa Blanca famous. West of the centre, on past the new and expanding fashionable Marina Rubicón, and a clutch of luxury hotels, lie the island’s finest golden white coves, known collectively as the Papagayo beaches. Three small cafes are the only development in this protected area.
