Just got back from a 4 night stay for my 50th. Stayed in room 0123 deluxe with sea views. It was amazing. Great value. The breakfast was excellent. So much choice. Had a back and neck massage in the Wellness suite by Anna. I felt so relaxed. Everything was so professional and nothing was too much trouble. After my massage I came out to find a bottle of champagne courtesy of Wellness. What a lovely touch and a great way to spend my birthday.
The hotel has everything you need and it's very close to a lovely sandy beach (5 min walk). Food is good and very generous. The staff are delightful, very friendly and always giving recommendations of what to do.
The only but we had was that the premises are in good need of refurbishment. Being such a huge hotel maybe they need to close a section in order to be able to afford a massive refurb. Having said that, everything was working properly but the doors squeaked and the bath tub had scratches.
I was there with my toddler and the hotel also had activities for children and a mini disco which he loved. Plenty of activities for adults as well.
Just outside the hotel there are quite a few car rentals to choose from although if you can, rent the car at the airport and that will be cheaper than taking a cab (45 euros for the taxi when car rental is 35 euros per day!)
Overall great experience, I would definitely recommend it and hope to go back soon.

Room was comfortable and great with 2 small kids. Indoor pool as warm as a bath. Fantastic staff - cleaners came most days and made fun animals out of the towels for the kids. There was a complimentary bottle of cava waiting for the adults on arrival too. Marina was a bit classier as an area than some resorts but still had children's menus at all the eateries. Really convenient for excellent papagayo beaches but only with a vehicle. Kitchen basic but sufficient. Thoroughly recommend.
We spent a nice holiday at this hotel, which is up to its nominal star level. The staff were all kind and our room was very clean. We were on a buffet breakfast scheme and the variety and quality of food was excellent. The hotel is very well kept and not noisy. It is located close to a private beach, which is clean with crystal clear water.

Room was clean and modern. Staff very courteous.
Very nice hotel. Only down side was we booked a double room and turned out to be a twin pushed together. No other rooms available. We were all inc. but hotel gave us bill and on inspection of tab was not our signature so was all cleared. So check your bill b4 leaving hotel.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in the junior suites. Had a problem with air conditioning in the children's room, they resolved it as soon as possible. Pools were cleaned daily. Rooms were kept clean. Stayed all inclusive. Food was repetitive after a week but that's to be expected. Food was very nice with a good choice. Different speciality each night. Recommend eating in the Pizza restaurant very nice pizzas. Didn't think much of the entertainment but didn't bother us as we had older teenagers. All in all it was good value for money for a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is a very large complex which has many facilities and is close to the beach.
The Hotel attracts mainly families although there are some Adult only features such as a designated swimming pool. Also whilst we were there part of the buffet restaurant was designated adult only dining section.
Some of the features such as the "turn down" service was inconsistent until we brought this shortfall to the hotel's attention.
The food was of a reasonably high standard and the staff were exceptionally helpful and efficient altogether a very pleasant stay.

Lovely hotel, well maintained and clean. Large range of restaurants and facilities. The hotel had lots of activities for children but needs more for the teenage age range and the piano lounge needs better entertainment In the evenings.

The original port and fishing village maintain an agreeable low-key buzz with good bars and restaurants, but it is the beaches that make Playa Blanca famous. West of the centre, on past the new and expanding fashionable Marina Rubicón, and a clutch of luxury hotels, lie the island’s finest golden white coves, known collectively as the Papagayo beaches. Three small cafes are the only development in this protected area.
