"Excellent hotel in a great location in Tauranga. Not much to do in Tauranga but if you find yourself there, then this hotel is a gem - excellent quality and condition and really good value for money. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Very last-minute stay for us and was well worth it. Clean and tidy with a very nice and hot thermal pool. Could do with a little bit of a spruce up in the bathroom, but meets (and compared to some others exceeds) 3 stars in that department. Overall would stay again if given the opportunity. "

"Prince’s Gate was an older property. The room was clean and comfortable, but you could hear people walking on the porch outside. The door to our room was weird as the door knob was at knee level. Parking was ample and free. We had drinks at the bar and service was very good. The area around the fireplace in the great room was warm and comfy. We ate breakfast both mornings at Citron Cafe about two blocks from the hotel and it had exceptional food and service. Loads of shopping and restaurants...
