Great value in a good location to walk into town. Clean room. Staff all very friendly. Grab bag with a hot breakfast sandwich is great if you don't want to sit for a full breakfast. Will be back!

Good value hotel
We always enjoy staying at the Osborne hotel. It's good value, clean and comfortable with an excellent Italian restaurant right next door. A couple of things would make it better. Our room (16) had a blind at the window but no curtain . The room was not dark enough for our liking. Secondly, we wish the butter, jam, marmalade etc was loose and not in throwaway plastic.

Hi Anne Thank you for your review.We have passed on comments to management regarding the curtain in the room .The reason for the single use jams and butters etc is for a few reasons .Firstly No wastage and the plastics do get recycled. As you may be aware we have 14 tables at Breakfast which would equal to 56 Jars of jam and Marmalade due to cross contamination it just wouldn't work along with the fact it would be then thrown out due to food safety regulations .We are pleased that you have had a great stay and we look forward to your next.one

Very good value for 1 night. Twin room (no doubles left) on top floor, with good en-suite shower. Very warm but not uncomfortably so after a warm sunny day, so I might not want the top floor in hot weather - but how often does that happen in Newcastle? Excellent breakfast, cooked to order, including proper poached eggs.
