I would recommend but beware of the 7th floor.....

Posted 08-Nov-2016
Pros: The entrance is nice and large and modern
Cons: The lack of water pressure on the 7th floor!!
Location: It is very close to all the LGB pubs/clubs which was good for us as that's where we had planned to meet friends. Everything else is within walking dis
The hotel looks lovely and modern. It is very large and it seems that the majority of guest are on stag and hen weekends. This was no problem for us as we were out all weekend. Do be advised though that the building is 7 storeys and there is little water pressure at the top!!!

Good city centre hotel

Posted 01-Nov-2016
Pros: I was attending a gig at the Metro Arena and the hotels closeness to it was a major factor in my decision to pick it.
Location: It's about a five ten minute walk to Monument, Haymarket, St. James Park and Eldon Square shopping centre.
This is a relatively new hotel and is in good condition. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It is located close to the station and not far from city centre. It is very close to the Metro Arena. I would certainly stay here again.

Last minute booking was fine. Room was good.

Posted 29-Oct-2016
Pros: Cheap night at last minute. Good location. Room was good for family
Cons: Receptionist was miserable. Didnt offer up any information re breakfast checking out time. We had teenagers in the room next to us woke us up at 03.30am. Not good with a 6 year old.
Location: Great location. Lots to do.

A very good stay and location is superb...

Posted 20-Oct-2016
Pros: The staff, accommodation and most of all the breakfast 😊
Cons: The room service 👎🏼
Location: It is situated in a very good location, 5-10 mins walk to town Centre and it was so close to the metro arena.
Hotel is very nice, we had a great stay, breakfast is very very nice, receptionist are so welcoming and helpful. Staff are very nice, but the only let down was the room service. I went to the bar at 9:45 pm to order a margarita pizza and cheesy nachos to be delivered to our room. So the gentleman behind the bar told me that it will take about half an hour, then I rang up after an hour about our order as it's still not there. Then a guy answered and said that they're a bit behind and if we still wanted to go ahead with our order? Since me and my husband are both hungry we said yes, after another 15 mins, the food arrive. To my dismay, pizza was burned and the cheesy nachos is also burned and there's no soured cream on it just a bit of salsa covered with cheese :( I mean for £9.95 of a pizza, you won't expect it to be served burnt. That's the only let down.

Excellent choice of hotel in Newcastle. Close to shops and pubs. Excellent cooked buffet breakfast in the morning for £8 if you pay when you arrive.
