Can't wait to go back

Posted 29-Apr-2016
Staff is very friendly! Rooms on Prude side - worn out and need renovation, but we spend most of out time on a beach! Wish it would be a little deeper! But already want to go back! So much fun!

Love the beach. Miss the slide!

Posted 25-Apr-2016
Overall upgrades was a big plus. Bottled water on beach in a bucket of ice was awesome! Another restaurant at night and expansion was great! The things that needs alittle iimprovement is no blankets for bed. No rock climbing wall, and very disappointed about water slide gone. We have been told the painted rocks is never touched, however we have been several times and have yet to find one of the rocks we left. Very frustrating! Seen many rocks turned upside down used for fill. Overall trip was good, hope to return next year!

Pros: Freedom
Cons: The International restaurant's menu.
We have been Hedo ll for 12 times since 2002. The new management has done a lot of improvements. Food, service, renovations .....

Excellent Food, terrible rooms

Posted 01-Feb-2016
Pros: The Lobster Buffet was excellent.
Cons: The rooms are still outdated and dirty.
Location: We walked the beach daily and enjoyed the local market.
We had a portable air conditioner. We either had to keep our window open, and leave the room unsecured or have no Air Conditioning. The hose leaked water all over the floor, getting our suitcase wet. When we asked for another room, they of course said they were full. I complained the second time and they said they had no ocean view and I would have to wait another night. They didn't even ask me if I would move to the prude side. Even the house keeper asked if we were comfortable and recommended we switch rooms.

Nice resort - rooms need updating

Posted 18-Jan-2016
Pros: The resort was clean, the staff was nice, the food was good.
Cons: They need to figure out how to draw in a younger crowd. Lots of older people that were frankly boring.
Location: Long way away from airport.
The resort was very nice. The rooms needed to be updated. I'm not even sure that era, 1970's or 1980's.

Attention "Bucket-listers"

Posted 02-Jan-2016
Pros: The people and staff were great
Location: There were a host of on-site activities such as snorkeling, parasailing, booze cruises, and tennis lessons to name a few.
This is a once in a lifetime experience is simply a must-do vacation for anyone seeking an otherworldly vacation experience with like-minded souls. All-inclusive not only describes the amenities but also the vibe, energy, and overall atmosphere in Hedo II.

we go for the people

Posted 01-Jan-2016
Pros: staff, beach, guests
Cons: the entire hotel, and the pool/ hot tub
Location: we never left
Our 4 th trip. Nice improvements to the facility and dining area. We love this beach. it has something for everyone. Quiet and secluded if you like, or total party scene. We love the staff, they are always consistent and lovely. The people are super friendly and very low key. the problem continues to be the deteriorating conditions of the room. The shower was scalding and could not be used at times. the party pool and hot tub are in need of updating, stuck in the 70's. We keep going back because its a great time, but it is not cheap and some might be really disappointed about the hotel.

Relaxation at it's best

Posted 15-Dec-2015 on Orbitz
As always, the staff here are excellent. The shows that they put on at night are fantastic. The beach location is great. The changes (remodeling) that have been done do a lot to improve the place. The only thing that I would say is that the last time we were here, the food seemed to be better. I'm not saying that it wasn't good, just didn't seem to be up to what it has been in the past. Yes, there are graphic PDA's so if you're easily offended, this is probably not the place for you. I can honestly say that this place is one of the best, most relaxing resorts anywhere.

Every time my husband and I visit Jamaica, we always stay at Hedo! All of the staff members are always so cheerful and willing to please. I would like to thank Floyd and Lorenzo at the nude pool for always making sure we were taken care of. Also, a special thanks to Tanisha and Sasha-Kay for providing the best beach massages we have ever had! The food was excellent throughout the resort. My only complaint is that for the price we paid, wifi should be included.
