The property was too quiet and didn't offer many options. You could hear a pin drop other than the birds, bugs, frogs and goats that surrounded the property. If you want peace and quiet, don't like to do anything in the evenings and enjoy feeling like you're in a musical soundtrack from a spa 24/7, then this is your kind of place. We would have preferred some music throughout the resort and on the beach as well as some entertainment options. They did have a piano player the one evening in the lobby but the piano was out of tune. The best part of the beach experience was a local strolling musician that played his guitar and sang. There was a buffet option for breakfast and dinner. The one restaurant changed its dinner menu every other night (Except Monday's) from a "Chef's Showcase" to an A la carte menu. The options were so limited, we walked out on the a la carte night and the Chef's Showcase has us and other guests hitting the dinner buffert to enjoy a full meal. Our best meal was at the beach bar ironically. The bar ran out of Bacardi rum, mint (for mojitos) and the ingredients for a Mango martini. The rooms were dated and older, with our bathroom having a huge crack in the sink and tiles falling off of the shower. Overall, we were very disappointed for the price we paid. I will end on a positive note and say that the staff was overall VERY attentive, kind and accommodating. Their employees are their saving grace!!
