"Stayed for 3 nights. We received a warm welcome on arrival. Room was attractive, and of a good size, and the provision of bottled water in the room was a lovely touch. Well stocked hospitality tray too. Bathroom was well appointed. Only issue we had was that when showering after 9.30 pm, the hot water only came out as luke warm; by morning it was lovely and hot. "Lovely secure property with all anemities accounted for. Kevin met me at the door to go through some details and answer any questions I had, he also kindly upgraded my room for the night! Room was spacious and spotless with microwave, mini fridge and great power shower. A folder was also provided which had useful info about the hotel and the local area. Will definitely be staying here again, thanks Kevin!"

"Overall our two nights were good room and property were very clean and there's a kitchen for food. A couple of points would be to have a blind on the bathroom door window mainly because the morning light comes in and wound add more privacy. Also we found the mattresses uncomfortable and springy so didn't get a great sleep but its a lovely property and would stay again if beds were comfier "

"The location is beautiful and the breakfast service and quality is excellent. My only real complaint is that the bed in the Feng Shui room could do with a new mattress and duvet as both are a little lumpy. Overall I'd recommend it for the cost though."

"Beautiful room in a really lovely Victorian house. The attention to detail was absolutely spot on. The breakfast was amazing. We had the birdcage, which was filled with fresh pastries. We couldn’t finish it, we had to bring some home!! The bed was really comfortable. The host was really efficient and friendly."

"Very small room, no lampshade no tiolet roll. Doors banging very loudly with no regard for other people. Smoking in the house which was unpleasant. Nithing good to say really. 40quid a night is ridiculous for that room."

"This is our second time back at the cottage. The pool is brilliant and much bigger than it appears in the photos. The surrounding are is beautiful and the cottage is really clean, snug and well kitted out. Another great stay."
