"Our family of 5 (13,16,16, 2-adults) had a great experience! Dave and Cath we VERY responsive to all questions, and the home was perfect. They live on a great hobby farm with lots of animals to see. Perfect 5min walk to a cute small town including: grocery, meat market, coffee, and great shopping, great views, excellent hospitality (and the farm fresh eggs and brownies we delish!). For the golfers, there’s even an excellent 18 hole golf course 5 minutes away! Don’t miss out on this rental!"

"Excellent property for a large group of adults to explore the Peak District. Six en-suite rooms equally sized so no-one gets the small room! Kitchen/dining area easily accommodates the group and is well equipped. The lounge is enormous and has great views. Loads of walking from the Chapel or a short drive away. "Lovely clean spacious bungalow. We love this area, and have camped here many times, but as a larger group than usual and due to the time of year we decided on staying at Monameeth bungalow, very glad we did, plenty of parking space at the back of the bungalow. Great pub and cafe straight across the road, so no cooking unless you choose to. Within walking distance to one end of Lathkill dale, pkenty of other walks close by, short drive to Bakewell or Youlgreave so a perfect location."

"The house was easy to find and only 6/7 mins walk into town ,the house was beautiful the photos don’t do it justice,the hot tub was a clean and hot ; the only down side was it could of done with some sort of lighting outside around the hot tub as we stayed at the end of Oct and it was dark around 7 o’clock ,otherwise we couldn’t fault anything else."

"We stayed in the house for a week with 6 kids aged 10 months to 12 years. The house itself was amazing with loads of space and activities for the whole family. The house is situated in a perfect location, close enough to walk into the town centre to take advantage of local parks, shops and bars/restaurants as well as being in the heart of the Peak District. For large families looking for a great place to get away together, I would strongly recommend this house."

"Perfectly located large house-ideal for a very large party of family or friends, both adults and children. Free parking on the street. One bedroom on the ground floor so ideal for someone who can't get up the stairs. Plenty of crockery etc in the kitchen."

"The place was quite small and very old fashioned, advertised as having a kitchen but that was outside and round a corner and none of the appliances worked and it was ill-equipped, I would not stay here and again and would not recommend it to anyone. Also quite expensive considering the standard"

"The location is great, yes the kitchen is outside, but its not a deal breaker, the kitchen was clean and tidy, previous comments suggested no heating in the bathroom, this wasn't the case, the property has full central heating and the water was very hot. Yes the decor is a little dated, but we used the property as a base, and weren't there to rate the standard of decor. Yes, the kitchen would benefit from an airfryer but again the fact that they didn't have one didn't spoil the trip. Would I use...

"This is our second time back at the cottage. The pool is brilliant and much bigger than it appears in the photos. The surrounding are is beautiful and the cottage is really clean, snug and well kitted out. Another great stay."
