Many activities are within an hour drive. The property is very quite and secluded, ideal for a get away. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. We would definitely come back."

"This is an historic and beautiful property, and ideal for a family group. The swimming pool is excellent and very secure. The area is quiet and peaceful and lends itself to a safe and relaxing holiday. The hosts are very accommodating and to have a local point of contact was very helpful. "Nous avons apprécié nos 2 semaines à visiter les nombreux sites touristiques et le zoo. La maison est fournie et l’hôtesse / monsieur sont sympathiques malgré le fait que nous parlons peu français, mais pas de problème avec Google Translate :-). Emplacement joliment décoré pour 1 nuit ou comme nous pour 2 semaines. Prima plek om te verblijven om de Loire omgeving te verkennen. Dierentuin, kastelen, shoppen in Orleans. Of voor 1 nacht richting het zuiden."

"The place was very pleasant for the base we used it for. The stay was somewhat spoilt on the last day with the owner implying we hadn't clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom. Considering we found children toys under the coffee table, part of a broken glass under the settee and a pubic hair in the shower his dig at my partners cleaning was totally unwarranted and if my French, or his English, had of been better my response would have been somewhat more vocal."

"Beautifully renovated property with masses of space and facilities. We visited with our children and grandchildren, 16 of us in total, with our ages ranging from 2 to 73! This property gave us a wonderful holiday which we will remember for years and years. The swimming pool was a great facility in the exceptionally hot summer temperatures. Highly recommended."

"The house is just like in the photos, although they don’t really do it justice. We all had a fabulous time, there was enough of everything - from generous size mugs to plates and outdoor chairs. The house was lovely and cool inside, even though it was fairly hot outside. The pool was brilliant, with half of it at a great depth for the 4 year olds, and the deep end was still good for adults jumping in. "This was our first vacation abroad post pandemic and we were looking for something for our family that was off the beaten path. The location was ideal! Surrounded by corn fields and vineyards, Gîte Bonneuil is idyllic. I would recommend a stay to our family and friends. Check in and check out were very efficient"
