"The Mel Madrid is a lovely hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nothing I asked for was too much trouble. My only regrets that I didn’t get a chance to try the lovely swimming pool as it seemed a little difficult to book to use it. The hotel seems to have been surrounded by scaffolding and work for quite some time. It needs to be finished. I don’t know whether it is construction or renovation.
