The staff was kind, friendly , and attentive, the room was spacious and clean , and the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, very close to subway, walking distance to major landmarks of Madrid . Excellent second stay at Hotel Ganivet, perfect location and everything within walking distance. The hotel pool is an added bonus after a long day sightseeing. Transport is close by and very easy to use. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is plentiful and a great start to the day.

The most negative part of this hotel is the shower, the water is either really hot or cold, I couldn't find the mid point with the temperature of the water in the shower. Other than that issue, the hotel has all the amenities and everything (touristy areas) is really close.
