"I was put off by the name at first being linked to a steakhouse. However given the other reviews I gave it a try. It was great for my stay. Staff and service were great and room had some great amenities. Free parking was great. I didn’t venture out for a walk as it was on the main road. Food at the steakhouse was great and good value mid week offers. "

"I've read previous reviews about this hotel where people are moaning about it being dated etc etc. It is dated. The rooms could do with modernising, but it is what it is. Staff are amazing and couldn't do enough for you. I felt like they were quite overworked and had a few jobs rather that being 'receptionist' or 'bar staff'. The bar is very reasonably priced and there is an outside area to sit in. Breakfast is fine. I've had worse, I've had better. Only scrambled eggs and no mushrooms....
