"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Quirky property - plenty of living room downstairs for our party of seven. But there is no outside space to speak of - the property sits right on the very fast A-road so no pleasure in sitting out front, and an oil leak from the CH system made the back yard unusable.
Extra steps and odd angles at the top of the stairs & in the back bedroom waited to clunk unwary heads! Luckily, the less-mobile member of our party was safely ensconced in the downstairs suite.
Everywhere we wanted to visit seemed to be an hour's drive away! So the location was good in the sense that we were handily placed for lots of things, but we clocked up plenty of mileage. Highlights were Great Orme, Portmerion and tobogganning through the forest!
