"Excellent staff behind the bar, young lady at the bar offered to assist caring the drinks to our table rather than me having a tray more than once and then saying the table needed to be cleaned as in her eyes it was dirty . Nothing seemed to to much trouble from the staff during our stay. Breakfast as good as I’ve seen bar prices I expected to be dearer did not disappoint Overall we will be returning in the near future as an excellent place to stay a place that promotes tourism in Chester . "Even though the location is in a busy party area, once you’re in the hotel, you hear absolutely nothing. Everywhere is walkable, so the location was very convenient. Staff was welcoming and friendly and the room had everything we needed. The ac worked great, and it was so nice to have a kettle, microwave, and small fridge. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

Iris Hotel

8/10 Good
"Stayed four nights at Iris hotel with my 6 year old twin grandsons. Room was fine clean and tidy only thing short was a plug for the bath but not a big problem was a shower too. Ideal location close to all attractions. The breakfast was buffet style continental. I do not always eat breakfast but suited the boys they had cereal, toast or pancakes. We were at the back of the hotel it was quiet at night. Saw 2 of the front sea view rooms they were big and great views and looked very nice."
