"All ok Breakfast service a bit slow "

"We had a lovely welcome at reception, and we had booked a Spa afternoon before our check in . The welcome was not as forthcoming at the Spa , and it seemed a little disorganised. Be aware that if the hot tub is cancelled due to the weather , you will not get a refund, apparently it’s in the T’s & C’s . The room was lovely if a little tired as some other areas were as well , granted it’s an old building , but the maintenance was a little lacking . The service and welcome at the restaurant was very good for evening meals and breakfasts . A couple of criticisms , the wine glasses could nicer , not ordinary glasses , especially as your spending £60 on a bottle of wine . The other was at breakfast, the plates were in a cabinet , which initially I thought was for heating the plates . This wasn’t the case , the plates were freezing and your breakfast was soon cold . "

"The hotel was ok for the price, some of the staff appear to have a lack of interest in there jobs especially the young lady in breakfast this morning there was no glass cups for cold drinks no orange juice left no bread for toasting milk empty in coffee machine and had to be told as she just kept walking past the tables not cleared and she was very load when communicating with kitchen staff the breakfast itself was very nice."

"Breakfasts was everything you could have wished for . The staff were very attentive to your needs, nothing was too much trouble for them. Evening meals the staff again were amazing. The bar staff were excellent. "

"Clean room, loved the decor !! Staff friendly and very welcoming, we got a room upgrade which was amazing !! Pool was clean only problem was some ants. Room was clean and cozy, bathroom outdated but was in okay condition"

"Clean, decent shower with high pressure, bed is decent. Minimal rooms with no desks, can be loud but didn’t bother me No parking "

"The room wasn’t bad, and nothing was inherently bad. It was relatively clean. Although, the bath panel was off, the room smelt damp, there was no hot water, the bath mat was mouldy. "

"The room was okay. Though to be fair clean. The beds were a tad uncomfortable. The bed had a ridge at the side so probably needs a new matress. The pillars were cheap. One was too low and two were too high. The breakfast was of a reasonable standard. Though I doubt whether the sausages were Welsh sausages. Probably cheap sausages from wholesale suppliers. I used to make sausages and these definately werent home made. The buffet was very average. The bread was cheap commercial bread. The yogurts were full of ultra processed rubbish. Someone needs to take control of this aspect of the experience. On the positive side the location and the Staff were very pleasant. Not sure whether I would be back in a hurry. "

"We were given a double room when a twin was booked. No towels and toilet seat broken. When towels were requested we ended up with six bath mats."
