Although I have stayed at 5 star hotels on several occasions, I was amazed by the standard of service of this hotel. All the hotel staff were extremely polite and gave the true meaning to the word "valued" customer. From the first time I entered the hotel it was a different experience all together. Despite the good service at other 5 star hotels, I could always find a small detail missing. I am not picky, but when it comes to top service I know what to expect, and notice when something, as small...

Great facilities, they really have thought of everything… from the cinema room to the gym & the laundry room. Stayed for a work trip but would return for a personal trip!

Valet and doorman greeted us with a smile and remembered our name each time we left and returned! Wait staff in the dining rooms were so friendly and very attentive. Beautifully decorated for Christmas!

Fantastic apartment, great location. Only thing I didn’t like was that the check- in guy asked for my credit card and ID and disappeared for several minutes with them before returning them to me, which makes me worry about card fraud so I should have been advised of this beforehand

Can't get a better location, near to Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq, Buckingham Palace...the hotel itself is immaculate, the double room was of a reasonable size, the bed so comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Shower was excellent, complimentary drinks on arrival and cookies and cranberry juice / water in the room. Downsides..not many, view was terrible and there was a slightly unusual smell in the room which you only really noticed first entering.

First impression of the hotel was not great as the lobby and lift are very small. However I am happy with the room and found the staff extremely helpful generally. It’s great to hear the staff telling American tourists about the history of royalty :)

From our arrival at the property we felt very welcome and comfortable. From Marks initial greeting on reception to all orher aspects of our stay we were extremely happy. This business , 52.years in the making with Marks father and uncle is a very slick family run outfit. All staff we encountered including chambermaids were exceptional. They could all not be more helpful and gave valuable information where needed about things like where to get the Uber boat from rather than walking to the City...

My stay was brief but highly enjoyable. Staff were very warm and welcoming and the room was immaculate. I also got to use the sauna, which was a welcome bonus.
Just one small improvement would make a real difference: the bathroom had one of those terrible half-screened showers, which meant that water went everywhere. It's hard to relax in the shower when you're conscious of potentially flooding the place. A liquid soap dispenser (like the one in the shower) at the handbasin, rather than a...

When is the best time to go to Little Venice?
The best time to visit Little Venice is during the warmer months, specifically from late spring to early autumn (May to September), when the weather is generally pleasant and activities along the canals are in full swing.
During these months, you'll find the canal boats and waterside cafes at their most inviting. The flowers are usually in bloom, adding to the area's visual appeal. This period is ideal for enjoying a leisurely canal boat trip or a stroll along the towpaths.
For those who appreciate outdoor events, the annual Little Venice Cavalcade, a colourful festival of canal boats, typically takes place in early May. This is a particularly good time for families, as the event offers a lively and entertaining experience with many boats dressed up and a festive atmosphere along the canals.
If you prefer a quieter experience with fewer crowds, late September can also be lovely.
