"Super location steps from train station. Cozy and nice room. Best air conditioner in England! Superb private bathroom with great shower and lots of hot water. Nuce tea and coffee selection in our room. The staff are super friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was absolutely Amazing! Again the best we have had in England. Will take care of your bags pre check in whilst you go tour the Cathedral. Over all i rate this a perfect choice and would highly recommend. Cheers "

"It's a lovely place, nice room, basic and small but served our purpose. Very firm matrases, closer to hard. Good English breakfast but not much else. There were 2 issues only. One is that in a twin room you can't really use a wardrobe, it's very tight spacing and it just doesn't open as the bed is next to it (you can't move the bed either, no space). And at 7.00 fire alarm went off in our room. That seriously disrupted my sleep and turned out to be something in the kitchen. No one even went down...

Nice stay nice pub nice staff although and I booked this B&B on the reviews I read (only the top 4 when viewing) if I had seen more reviews on the fact that they didn't do breakfast unless you book directly with them I would of chosen somewhere else. Also noted when leaving/checking-out the property you do so via the night entrance which the stairs down are very steep and you must be very careful if you have heavy or a large case with you. All that being said I did enjoy my stay."

"Excellent old manor. We stayed in Mrs Smith's room. Which used to be the owners room. Plenty of space, large bay window overlooking the garden and old church behind the property. Clean and welcoming. Bathroom was large and clean with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, the best scrambled eggs I've ever had in my life. A must try for any yankee visiting from the US. Eggs are much better in England than the US. Staff was quite welcoming and friendly. There are a couple of walking trails...

"The bedroom was ok, but bathroom left a lot to be desired, less than a third of a toilet roll no spare, no glasses glass or plastic to clean your teeth, bath panel cracked, toilet needs a lot of bleach in it for it to be clean, soap dispenser in shower not working. Had a shower went from nice warm water to cold. Bed was comfortable and nice white towels. Room 4 right above the bar can be noisy would we stay again? No."

"Burley is a lovely village steeped in history witches and folklore . The staff were lovely and the breakfasts excellent. A lovely place to relax , ride a bike and close to lymington . Lovely beds and warm too. Will definitely stay again . Dave & Dawn Portland Dorset"

"Superb host and beautiful property. Set in the midst of a working farm it is a delight. Sadly had to cut trip short due to my daughter being unwell (nothing to do with the Farm just to be clear) but highly recommend Thorps Farm if you’re looking for a bit of RnR"
